Meet some of our team…
For an apprentice carpenter who should have had a career crafting oak refectory tables in deepest Devon, David casts a long shadow in the lighting industry…
This northern soul boy arrived in 80’s London in an old Ford escort with his wife and a two-man tent. He landed a Saturday job at the prestigious London Lighting Company, leaving there in 1987 as Company Director. He’s been his own man ever since…
A collector of beautiful things, (Whitefriers glass, Panerai watches and so much more) you’ll invariably find him in his man cave making and repairing stuff. His favoured maxim ‘Fortune Favours the Brave’ continues to fuel his ambition of simply designing and manufacturing the right kind of light fittings, that that produce the right kind of light.
Having lit some of the most incredible places, spaces, and things globally, David’s greatest triumph remains that of continuing to build his family business as a leading British lighting brand that is revered, respected, and award-winning the world over…(and he’s still the only Blackberry user we know)!
After earning a First-Class degree in Product Design Engineering from Brunel University, Tom began his career designing bespoke architectural lighting products for many landmark projects across the UK; most notably the Royal National Theatre and Victoria & Albert Museum.
He jumped ship to join us in our Marine Division focusing on relationship and project/product development, and delivery for our Superyacht projects worldwide.
When he’s not cycling or climbing mountains he can be found presenting our products and services to the Superyacht designers, engineers, installers and shipyards in the UK, Northern Europe and beyond.
And he can spot a scratch in mirror-polished stainless steel a mile off.
After graduating from Nottingham Trent University with a BA in Theatre Design and Technology, Georgia followed her dream by travelling halfway around the world to Sydney where she lived and worked before moving on to explore Australia, New Zealand and Thailand.
Having previously worked in various, high-pressured event and office management roles, she finally saw the light and joined our team . As a devotee of KonMari she loves organisation in everything she does. Developing and improving the business internally by creating sales plans and systems she manages key client accounts, ensuring they have a smooth customer experience from quote to delivery and beyond.
She’s passionate about interior design and is always planning, drawing, painting, making or building something…be it IKEA flat pack, or a new marketing campaign! Her favourite expression is ‘I can do it!’…and she does.
Richard kickstarted his career through innovative projects in eco-friendly vehicle development. His fascination with invention and human powered vehicle innovations propelled him from product design to industrial design and lead to further invaluable work experience in mechanical design and engineering.
Determination and a creative spark ensured his first-class honours’ degree in Product Design. However, Richard’s career began in more of an industrial design role, working on a zero-carbon eco vehicle (V.O VOXI). He moved on to become a relied upon design engineer for a turn-key innovation house in the field of luxury automotive. This involved design, manufacture, and precision quality control solutions for the likes of Bentley, McLaren and Jaguar Land Rover.
After being conditioned to the tight tolerance expectations of automotive, Richard found his calling in end-to-end design of products for a leading UK brand in the lighting industry, developing elegant new product ranges consisting of unique interior, exterior and coastal lamps to meet high quality brand expectations.
A truly seasoned operator with a background in military, civil and marine sectors, brings a wealth of operational, engineering, logistical and manufacturing experience.

As a Senior Lighting Designer, Phil has a passion for detail and truly loves the variation and creative process that lighting design allows.
Phil has worked on everything from super prime residential, head offices for blue chip companies right through to projects with the London underground as well as nuclear power companies.
Phil believes that good lighting has the power to improve our lives across all sectors and walks of life and takes pleasure in delivering world class lighting schemes for the end users and was recently named a winner of the 2021 40 under 40 awards.
